Spicy Dong Quai PMS Chips
Spicy Dong Quai Chips are a great and healthy way to consume the Dong Quai that suppresses the distinct herbal odor that some women cannot tolerate. Dong Quai and Black Cohosh contain many natural compounds that act on estrogen receptors in the body. These herbs help to relieve many undesirable symptoms suffered by many peri-menopausal women.
Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon dong quai
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon black cohosh
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
10 flour tortillas cut into 8 wedges
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Mix these seasonings: dong quai, black cohosh, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, pepper, salt, and sugar in a bowl
Coat 2 baking sheets with vegetable oil spray
Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the tortillas wedges
Bake for about 8 minutes until crisp
Comments
This spicy recipe is perfect for personally adjusting or enhancing its flavor and spiciness to your liking. You can add even more spice heat to it by sprinkling 1/8 teaspoon of ground Cumin and a couple of dashes of Cajun Seasoning into the mix before scattering it on your flour tortilla triangles.
Give your chips a sweet and spicy twist by adding a little more sugar than what the recipe calls for. Mix it up even more by using whole-wheat flour tortillas instead of the usual beloved flour tortillas.
